The Atmosphere at the Grenfell Tower

A Retrospective View

We look back with so many unanswered questions as we attempt to honour the victims and fight for equality and justice. We sit here hoping for a government that is truly ‘for the people’, we feel forgotten…neglected. How could such a thing have occurred? Why weren’t safety measures put in place? What are the names of the victims? Why haven’t they all been accounted for? My friend and I went to volunteer a couple days after the tragedy occurred in West London. I would like to give an account of the day and the atmosphere at the Grenfell Tower…
